Cookie Policy
What is stored on your device when you visit, why, and how to switch it off.
Last updated 10 August 2026
This store is operated by Tymon Healthcare Private Limited, trading as Darakhtveda. This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on darakhtveda.myshopify.com and how to control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise that device later. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, and web beacons — do much the same job. Where this policy says “cookies”, it means all of them.
The categories we use
Strictly necessary. Without these the store does not work. They keep your cart, hold your session while you check out, remember that you passed the storefront password, and protect against fraudulent requests. They cannot be switched off from within the site.
Functional. These remember choices you made — a language or region, a dismissed notice — so you are not asked twice.
Analytics. These tell us, in aggregate, which pages are read and where people leave. They are how we know whether a page is doing its job. We do not use them to build a profile of you as an individual.
Marketing. We do not currently run advertising cookies of our own. If that changes, this page will change first.
Who sets them
- Shopify, our platform, sets the cookies needed for the cart, checkout and fraud prevention.
- Our payment gateways set cookies during payment.
- Google Analytics 4 sets the measurement cookies described above, so that we can see how many people reach a page and where they leave. It is configured to measure the store, not to identify you.
Third parties set their cookies under their own privacy policies, and we suggest you read them if you want the detail.
Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set because the store cannot function without them. Where the law requires consent for the other categories, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time using your browser controls below. Withdrawing consent does not remove cookies already stored — you will need to clear those in the browser.
How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you see what is stored, delete it, and block future cookies — usually under Settings, then Privacy. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which discards everything when you close it.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the cart and checkout. That is not us being difficult; there is nowhere else to keep a cart.
Do Not Track
Browsers vary in how they send a Do Not Track signal and there is no agreed standard for responding to one, so we do not currently respond to it. We would rather say that than claim compliance with something undefined.
Changes
If the cookies we use change, this page is updated and the “last updated” date at the top changes with it.
